Tokmanni’s customer loyalty program, Tokmanni Klubi, has proven to be highly popular. The customer loyalty program, which has around 1.3 million members, will celebrate its first anniversary in August.
Tokmanni will celebrate the first anniversary of its customer loyalty program, Tokmanni Klubi, by organising a two-week birthday campaign from Monday 15 August to Sunday 28 August 2022. In addition to a wide range of special birthday offers, there will be free gifts and various happenings – and free coffee will also be served, true to the Finnish tradition. All current and future Tokmanni Klubi members as well as other customers are invited.
Generous special offers have always been an essential part of Tokmanni, and the anniversary celebrations of the immensely popular Tokmanni Klubi are no exception.
“It’s clear that special offers will also play the main role during the first anniversary celebrations of Tokmanni Klubi. We will have plenty of special offers on various home and leisure products, for example,” says Veli-Pekka Ääri, Vice President, Marketing and Communications at Tokmanni.
However, he adds that the anniversary will not be about product offers alone.
“The content will be multifaceted. For example, on Monday 15 August 2022, members of the customer loyalty program will receive a complimentary reusable Tokmanni bag with their purchase. On Tuesday, free coffee will be served at all our stores. On Thursday 18 August 2022, a complimentary Pepsi hat will be handed out with a certain Pepsi purchase. On Friday, each member of the customer loyalty program who makes a purchase of more than EUR 50 will receive a voucher worth EUR 10,” says Ääri.
On Saturday 20 August 2022, family events will be organised in 100 Tokmanni stores.
“At the Tokmanni Klubi family events on Saturday, children – and adults as well – will have the opportunity to get creative with LEGO® DOTS.”
Tokmanni Klubi members purchase a wide range of products from the variety discount retailer’s selections. Their favourites include products related to pets and the home, for example.
“Fans of low prices” are interested in the multifaceted assortment and generous offers
Tokmanni’s product selection has generated a great deal of interest among Tokmanni Klubi members, “the fans of low prices”, since the very beginning of the customer loyalty program in August 2021.
“Judging from the first year of the programme, Tokmanni Klubi members make a wide range of purchases from our assortments. They are particularly interested in pet products and various products related to cooking, interior decoration, cleaning and the home in general,” Ääri explains.
The members are also interested in low prices and comprehensive product offers.
“Our loyal customers have been more willing than our other customers to buy products with special prices that are slightly higher than usual. We have therefore paid a lot of attention to ensuring that there is a wide selection of price points, particularly among Tokmanni Klubi special offers,” Ääri says.
“For example, in recent months, our Tokmanni Klubi special offers have included plenty of garden furniture under Parco, our private label launched in early 2022. We will also have a large number of interesting special offers on very affordable and slightly more valuable products during the late summer and the autumn.”

With around 1.3 million members, Tokmanni Klubi will continue to evolve
A wide range of special offers has been an essential part of Tokmanni Klubi from the very beginning. The features of the customer loyalty program have been continuously developed further. For example, special offers and other Tokmanni Klubi benefits were made available in the Tokmanni online store last spring.
Customers were also provided with access to a digital warranty and receipt service that makes daily life easier by making product purchase information available in a single location. The first members-only Tokmanni Klubi evening event was held in late March. At the event, loyal customers were offered a considerable discount on nearly all products available in the Tokmanni online store. Similar events have since been organised on many occasions.
Tokmanni Klubi currently has around 1.3 million members. According to Ääri, they will continue to be provided with interesting offers and other benefits.
“We are continuously developing Tokmanni Klubi based on our own ideas and customers’ wishes. In addition to selling trailers, many of our stores have trailers available for rent, and one of our most recent loyal customer benefits is a nice discount on the fee. We will also offer partnership benefits and prize draws, which have been requested by our customers, and much more.”
