Tokmanni is opening its expanded and remodelled store in Kuusamo – The store will offer thousands of new products in addition to its existing comprehensive assortment

Tokmanni will be able to offer even more low prices and thousands of new products in Kuusamo, as the store has been remodelled and expanded by approximately 500 square metres. The opening of the Tokmanni store that employs approximately 20 retail sector professionals will be celebrated with opening offers and free surprise buckets filled with various products gifts and surprises on Thursday 7 April 2022 from 8 am.
The store located by the intersection of highways 5 and 20 that has been serving customers in Kuusamo since 2012 has been able to add many interesting products to the home, interior decoration, leisure and home renovation product groups. The already extensive and varied assortment of the store, which now measures approximately 4,500 square metres, will also include trailers and boat trailers. Trailer rental services will also be offered at very low prices. The covered outdoor garden department by the store has also been remodelled.
The remodelled store managed by Store Manager Antti Kouri has been designed in line with Tokmanni’s newest store concept, which emphasises quick and easy shopping. The concept features wide aisles and informative signage. The product categories – beauty, health and wellbeing, interior decoration, cleaning, clothing, leisure, home electronics, home renovation, seasonal products and non-perishable foods – are also displayed in well-defined departments.
The expansion and remodelling will enable Tokmanni to meet its customers' wishes even better than before, says Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain at Tokmanni.
“We receive a gratifyingly large number of requests from our customers, especially on the subject of extending our product assortments. The expansion of the store in Kuusamo and the other improvements have been very successful, and we will now be able to offer our customers even more items to purchase.”
“There is now space to offer even more, such as products requested by our customers and other unexpected surprises. The remodelling that emphasises comfort, overall appearance and convenience of shopping will make shopping at the store in Kuusamo even more enjoyable,” he adds.
At all Tokmanni stores you can pick up orders made through the Tokmanni online store and withdraw cash when paying at the checkout. Similar to other Tokmanni stores, it is possible to make purchases from the store in Kuusamo as a corporate customer.
There will also be a TalletusOtto ATM at the store, which allows customers to withdraw cash and deposit notes and coins into a bank account, and a recycling point for customers’ small waste electrical and electronic equipment such as broken coffee makers, lighting and hair dryers.
The Tokmanni store in Kuusamo will serve its customers at the address Luomantie 2, 93600 Kuusamo on weekdays from 8 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 8 am to 6 pm, and on Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm. The store has been open during the renovation project.
Special offers and surprise buckets filled with product gifts
Tokmanni celebrates the opening of its expanded and remodelled store with plenty of opening offers and with its famous free buckets filled with various products gifts and surprises. At the Tokmanni in Kuusamo the free buckets will be offered to the first 500 customers on the day of the opening. By presenting a token handed out at the store, customers will be able collect their surprise bucket without having to queue.
