At 9 am on 14 March 2024, Tokmanni will celebrate the opening of its fully refurbished store in the Ideapark Oulu shopping centre in Ritaharju, Oulu. The opening will be celebrated with plenty of special offers and surprise buckets filled with product gifts.

The revamped Tokmanni store now features the discount retail chain’s newest store concept, which emphasises quick and easy shopping. To enhance the customer experience, the shelf layout and display of products and product categories have been renewed and signage has been improved. At the same time, in line with customer wishes, the store's product assortments have been supplemented with an entire shop-in-shop department of Miny products. The assortments of the Miny lifestyle brand, launched by Tokmanni in 2022, include a diverse range of beauty, wellbeing and interior decoration products and other surprising and interesting things to buy. Similar shop-in-shop departments with over 1,000 products can already be found in around 40 Tokmanni stores across Finland. A Miny shop-in-shop department can already be found in Oulu in the Tokmanni store in the city centre.

“We are very pleased with the renewals made to the Tokmanni in the Ideapark Oulu shopping centre, as they will improve the service provided to our customers in many ways. For example, our product displays have been improved and the store’s overall appearance is much more welcoming. The Miny shop-in-shop department will also enhance Tokmanni’s appeal in the shopping centre,” says Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain at Tokmanni.

Store Manager Pekka Keränen and his team of around 15 retail professionals will provide customer service at the refurbished Tokmanni store. The store will be open on weekdays from 9 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm and on Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Tokmanni store’s address is Ritaharjuntie 49, 90540 Oulu. The store has been open throughout the refurbishment project.

Tokmanni will be represented at the opening of the refurbished store, on Thursday morning on 14 March, by the store personnel and by Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain, and Toni Kauttio, Regional Manager.
