Thanks to the additional space, both of these stores have added new products to their selections. Miny is a lifestyle brand launched by Tokmanni last year, with a selection of more than a thousand products. The Tokmanni store in Kuopio city centre also features a Miny shop-in-shop department.

In addition, changes have been made in both stores in line with Tokmanni’s newest store concept, which supports quick and easy shopping. These include, for example, more comprehensive signage and a revised store layout.

“We are very happy with our refurbished stores. Many of our customers in Ruoholahti in Helsinki and Kuopio city centre have asked for a more convenient customer experience and a more diverse product range. When the opportunity presented itself, we were happy to expand and modernise our stores,” says Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain at Tokmanni.

A recycling point and a host of other smart choices

Tokmanni stores offer a range of smart energy choices and services that make customers’ daily lives easier. For example, the Ruoholahti store in Helsinki and the store in Kuopio city centre have convenient recycling points where customers can bring their light bulbs, batteries and small electrical appliances, such as shavers, kettles and electric toothbrushes.

Tokmanni uses modern LED lighting and other means to ensure energy efficiency. Tokmanni minimises waste by optimising order volumes and deliveries, for example, and by selling food products that are about to expire at significant discounts.

In all Tokmanni stores, customers can also make purchases through the Tokmanni Tukku B2B sales function and the Tokmanni Klubi customer loyalty program. Customers can also pick up orders made through the Tokmanni online store and withdraw cash when paying at the checkout.

Tokmanni’s popular customer loyalty program, Tokmanni Klubi, already has around 2.6 million members, and its club benefits have a prominent role at the Tokmanni stores and on the Tokmanni mobile app.
