Tokmanni’s Future TT Sport brand brings joy to daily exercise – One of Finland’s most popular clothing retailers has completely revamped the image and sportswear collection of its private label

Future TT Sport, one of Tokmanni’s private labels, starts 2023 with a revamped brand image and a new sportswear collection. The Future TT Sport brand’s exercise equipment will be revamped later.
Tokmanni, one of Finland’s most popular clothing retailers,* is investing strongly in developing its product selection. For the beginning of 2023, Tokmanni revamped the product selection and image of Future TT Sport, a private label focusing on active lifestyle and sportswear. In addition to clothing products for adults and school-age children, Future TT Sport offers a wide selection of exercise equipment.
The first Future TT Sport sportswear collection under the new brand image has recently arrived in selected Tokmanni stores and the Tokmanni online store. The sporty selection includes 40 good-looking indoor and outdoor clothing products such as workout tops and bottoms, leggings, quilted jackets and trousers, T-shirts, hoodies and sports bras.
The selection’s design focuses more on the requirements of active lifestyles and the versatility of colourful clothing products.
“In our clothing products, we have paid more attention than before to materials that keep the skin dry, offer protection from the wind and are water-resistant and water-repellent, as well as the cut and other functional details. Instead of focusing on specific sports, our new Future TT Sport products support various forms of exercise and everyday use,” says Satu Johansson, Concept Designer, Apparel at Tokmanni.
“In addition to focusing on sporty design and versatility, we are investing in recycled materials. For example, most of the clothes in the new Future TT Sport collection contain recycled polyester.”
The delightfully diverse range of Future TT Sport products includes indoor and outdoor clothing and various types of exercise equipment, such as kettlebells and yoga mats.
A new brand image for Future TT Sport products
The new, refreshed Future TT Sport brand image will gradually be expanded to also cover exercise equipment such as kettlebells, yoga mats, exercise bands, trampolines and sports bottles.
“Future TT Sport is a modern brand with a positive and laid-back approach to everyday exercise. Its products are intended to create genuine joy for people at different levels of exercise, and not just the people with the most active lifestyles,” says Tokmanni’s Marketing Manager Niina Karhu, who is responsible for the Tokmanni brand.
“A good price-to-quality ratio is always popular. We want to keep the threshold for exercise as low as possible, which is one of the reasons why we are paying special attention to affordable prices. To ensure easy shopping, the Future TT Sport product selection is displayed clearly and prominently in our stores and online store.”
Most of Tokmanni’s clothing products are designed in Finland
Tokmanni’s clothing professionals – designers, pattern makers and buyers – design most of the Future TT Sport products and Tokmanni’s other private-label clothing products in Finland.
Tokmanni seeks to continue to offer everyday clothing products that are easy to buy and use for adults and children alike, says Johansson.
“We want to highlight Finnish design, and we believe that our in-house design enables us to create comfortable clothes with an excellent price-to-quality ratio that are suitable for as many body shapes as possible.”

Focus on responsible sourcing
Tokmanni works systematically to develop responsible sourcing. In high-risk countries, Future TT Sport products and Tokmanni’s other private-label products are manufactured in BSCI-audited factories – that is, factories audited by third parties. Tokmanni also carries out its own factory inspections to audit working conditions, product quality and quality assurances processes.
To increase transparency in the supply chain, Tokmanni discloses on its website the factories in which its private-label clothes, shoes, bags and accessories are manufactured. The list of factories is updated annually.
‘Iloa liikkeellä’, the slogan of Future TT Sport, one of Tokmanni’s private labels, can be freely translated as ‘joy in exercise’ as it brings joy to daily exercise.
