Tokmanni’s store network in Helsinki is growing – A new store in Ristikko shopping centre

Tokmanni has concluded an agreement on opening a new store in the Ristikko shopping centre in Konala in north-western Helsinki. The opening of the store is planned for May 2023.

The new Tokmanni store will employ approximately 15 salespeople and a Store Manager and its floor area will exceed 2,000 square metres. This will enable the store to offer a wide assortment of consumer goods to customers in the Konala area.

“The assortment of the new Tokmanni store in Konala will focus especially on the home and home improvement, clothing, detergents and cleaning products, and beauty, health and wellbeing products,” says Harri Koponen, Vice President, Store Network and Concept.

For Tokmanni, the Ristikko shopping centre has a great location in a versatile retail and service park in the intersection of the Vihdintie highway and Kehä I ring road, and a strong established customer flow.

“Opening a new store in the Ristikko shopping centre will bring Tokmanni and its offering to Konala for the first time, and it excellently supports our target to develop our store network in the Helsinki metropolitan area,” says Koponen.

Tokmanni currently has 20 stores in the Helsinki metropolitan area. In Espoo, the newest Tokmanni was opened in the Lippulaiva shopping centre in Espoonlahti last spring. In Vantaa, the newest Tokmanni was opened in the Myyrmanni shopping centre in Myyrmäki in spring 2020. In Helsinki, Tokmanni’s newest store was opened in the Kaari shopping centre in Kannelmäki in August last year. The opening of the store in Kontula will also be celebrated before the end of this year.


Tokmanni aims to expand its store network in Finland to more than 220 Tokmanni stores by the end of 2025.
