Customers will now find even more low prices and new products in Tammisto, Vantaa, where Tokmanni has been extensively remodelling and expanding its store over the past weeks. As usual at the opening of the variety discount retailer’s store, which now has a truly varied product assortment and follows Tokmanni’s latest store concept, will be celebrated with plenty of special offers and various product gifts on Thursday 27 October 2022 from 8 am.

Located in a very busy retail park right next to the Tuusulanväylä highway and Kehä III ring road, the store has been expanded by approximately 2,500 square metres from roughly 3,900 square metres to roughly 6,450 square metres.

This means that the Tokmanni has grown by as much as an entire average-sized Tokmanni store and its product offering has expanded significantly in the home improvement, cleaning and interior decoration categories, for example. In addition, the assortment of non-perishable foods, consisting of a variety of spices, biscuits and sweets, for example, is also even more comprehensive than before. New to the Tammisto Tokmanni are also departments for the Einhell power tool brand, Elfa, which is known for its storage systems, and Maku Kitchen Life, which offers various kitchen accessories. The design of these departments matches their brand image. Overall, there are several thousand new products.

“We listened carefully to our customers’ wishes regarding the expansion of our 15-year-old store in Vantaa’s Tammisto. Our customers have requested more products and, thanks to the huge expansion, our store will be able to meet that request,” says Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain at Tokmanni.

The product assortments at the Tammisto Tokmanni in Vantaa have grown considerably as the store premises have expanded by as much as an entire average-sized Tokmanni. The photo is from Tornio, where Tokmanni renewed its store earlier this autumn.

The Tammisto Tokmanni in Vantaa now also has a 80-square-metre shop-in-shop department of the Miny lifestyle brand, which was launched by the variety discount retailer in February. Miny’s colour palette and visual identity is distinctly different from that of Tokmanni. True to its slogan “Kaikkea kivaa, mutta ei mitään kallista. Me olemme Miny.”, which can be freely translated as “Big on fun, small in price. We are Miny.”, Miny offers an assortment of more than one thousand beauty, wellness and interior decoration products and other surprising and interesting things to buy.

“Similar shop-in-shop departments can already be found in about 15 Tokmanni stores. Our lifestyle brand has aroused great interest both at Tokmanni stores and online and in our first Miny stores. Thanks to the store extension, there is now room for Miny also in Tammisto, which is great,” Heimo says.

The Tammisto Tokmanni now has a shop-in-shop department of the Miny lifestyle brand, which was launched early this year by the variety discount retailer. They can already be found in some 15 Tokmanni stores, including the Hyvinkää Tokmanni shown in the photo.
