From Monday 16 August 2021, customers will be able to enjoy the numerous benefits offered by Tokmanni Klubi. The customer loyalty program is designed to be extremely easy to use.

Tokmanni, Finland’s leading variety discount retailer, will launch its customer loyalty program on Monday 16 August 2021. The much-awaited programme, Tokmanni Klubi, will provide a wide range of special offers, benefits and services for “halpojen hintojen ystäville” (“fans of low prices”), in accordance with its slogan. In the initial phase of the programme, loyal customers can make purchases in Tokmanni stores. The programme will later be expanded to cover the online store. The customer loyalty program plays an important role in Tokmanni’s strategy.

In addition to changing special offers, product batches and other interesting benefits for loyal customers, Tokmanni Klubi will provide, for example, information about Tokmanni’s products, services and events. The customer loyalty program will also enable Tokmanni to reward its customers in new ways.

Tokmanni Klubi is an easy and effortless programme for loyal customers

Tokmanni Klubi is designed to be extremely easy to use. Customers can join the programme at the checkout in a Tokmanni store or online at www.tokmanni.fi/tokmanniklubi in just a few minutes. Customers can also opt to receive a link via SMS to join the programme. As a reward for joining Tokmanni Klubi, customers will receive a 10% discount* on a single purchase of their choice. The discount is valid for 30 days after joining the programme.

Various smart features that make daily life easier will be added to Tokmanni Klubi during the autumn, in addition to the wide range of special offers and other benefits for loyal customers.

“Tokmanni Klubi does not require a separate loyalty card, for example, because customers are identified based on their telephone number or photo ID at the checkout in a store. Identification is also quick and easy online,” Rautiainen points out.

“In addition, purchase information and warranty receipts will be automatically stored in electronic format during the autumn. Customers can easily view their purchase history online, which reduces the need for printing and storing traditional paper receipts.”

Tokmanni’s loyal customers will not be categorised

Tokmanni will not issue bonus points or categorise its customers based on the number of purchases, for example. Instead, the company focuses on making Tokmanni Klubi meaningful for all its loyal customers.

“Tokmanni will continue to be a store for everyone. It’s very important to us that all Tokmanni Klubi members feel appreciated and can use the loyal customer benefits they are interested in. Our special offers and other benefits will be not only surprising, but also easy to understand,” Rautiainen explains.

For customers, in trademark Tokmanni style, Tokmanni Klubi will be highly visible and audible in stores and direct advertising, for example, as well as in digital channels, such as television, radio, electronic newsletters, websites and social media.

An important part of strategy implementation

The customer loyalty program plays an important role in the implementation of Tokmanni’s strategy for 2021–2025, which focuses on customer trust and loyalty and cost-effectiveness.

“We are focusing on expanding our selection and on low prices, effortless service, interesting customer experiences and sustainability, for example. Tokmanni Klubi is an excellent channel to provide our customers with information about these and other topics,” says Rautiainen.

“Tokmanni Klubi will also provide us with valuable information about demand and product volumes in particular. Customer data helps us improve our entire chain of operations, from sourcing to the store concept and customer service.”
