Tokmanni to open a new store in Rovaniemi – New store will triple Tokmanni’s product offering in the city centre

Tokmanni has signed a lease agreement for new store premises in the centre of Rovaniemi in the Revontuli shopping centre. The store, measuring around 1,700 square metres, is expected to be opened at the end of August this year. The new store will triple Tokmanni’s product offering in the centre of Rovaniemi.

Tokmanni has two stores in Rovaniemi: one is in Eteläkeskus on Teollisuustie road and the other one is right next to the Revontuli shopping centre on Koskikatu road in the city centre.

The new store will replace the store on Koskikatu, which was initially a TEX store but has been operating under the Tokmanni name since 2019. The current store has approximately 700 square metres of space. The store staff will transfer from the Koskikatu store to the new store.

“We are very pleased with our new store that will be opened in the Revontuli shopping centre at the end of August, as it will allow us to triple our product offering in the centre of Rovaniemi. Tokmanni’s store network is growing and renewing

In addition to the opening of the Tokmanni store in the Revontuli shopping centre in the centre of Rovaniemi, Tokmanni has entered into agreements on the opening of new stores in Konala in Helsinki, the Keljo area in Jyväskylä and Tiiriö in Hämeenlinna. Tokmanni has also entered into agreements on the opening of new Miny stores in the Trio shopping centre in the centre of Lahti and the Keskustori central square in Tampere. The new Tokmanni store in Konala is expected to be opened in the spring, and the new Tokmanni store in Keljo is expected to be opened during the current year. In Tiiriö, the new Tokmanni store is expected to be opened in October or November this year. In Lahti and Tampere, the openings of Miny stores are planned for the end of May.

Tokmanni is also aiming to refurbish several of its stores around Finland in 2023. In February, Tokmanni also announced that it had entered into an agreement on acquiring the entire share capital of the Finnish footwear store chains Click Shoes Oy and Shoe House Oy. Ownership of the companies transferred to Tokmanni at the beginning of March 2023.


Tokmanni aims to expand its store network in Finland to more than 220 Tokmanni stores by the end of 2025.
