Tokmanni to open its completely remodelled Porttipuisto store in Vantaa – Largest Tokmanni in the Helsinki metropolitan area now has a Miny lifestyle brand shop-in-shop department

Tokmanni’s largest store in the Helsinki metropolitan area serves its customers at Porttipuisto in Vantaa. Comprehensive product selections and a pleasant shopping experience have been focused on at the newly remodelled store, which measures almost 6,150 square metres.

Tokmanni will celebrate the opening of its completely remodelled store at Porttipuisto in Vantaa on Wednesday 25 May 2022 at 8.00 am with special offers and Tokmanni buckets filled with surprise gifts.

The Tokmanni store at the Porttipuisto shopping centre near the Kehä III ring road and the Lahdentie motorway that has served customers since 2008 has been given a complete makeover. Significant improvements have been made to the checkout area, signage and overall pleasantness.

The product categories – beauty, health and wellbeing, interior decoration, cleaning, clothing, leisure, home electronics, home renovation, seasonal products and non-perishable foods – have also been reorganised into well-defined departments. What is more, the already comprehensive product categories have grown considerably.

The Porttipuisto Tokmanni also has a sales area for products suitable for resale that were originally ordered from the online store but later returned. Here customers will be able to make exciting product finds at very attractive discounts.

The Porttipuisto store is exceptionally large when compared with the other Tokmanni stores in the Helsinki metropolitan area, as it has 6,150 square metres of floor space.

Thanks to the remodelling, the Porttipuisto store’s product assortment has grown considerably.

Tokmanni also focuses on services. Customers can pick up orders made through the variety discount retailer’s online store, and withdraw cash when paying at the checkout. Naturally, purchases can be made as a Tokmanni corporate customer and through the Tokmanni Klubi customer loyalty programme. The Porttipuisto store also has a recycling point for customers’ small waste electrical and electronic equipment such as broken coffee makers, lighting and hair dryers.

Garden department, sale and rental of trailers – and now also Miny

The Tokmanni store at Porttipuisto in Vantaa also has a garden department selling soil, plants, flowers and other products designed for the yard, balcony and garden. The store’s product assortment also includes trailers and boat trailers. Trailers are also available for rent at very low prices.

The Porttipuisto store includes a new shop-in-shop department for the Miny lifestyle brand, which was launched by Tokmanni earlier this year. The department is about 100 square metres and offers a broad selection of beauty, wellness and home decoration products, as well as other Miny products. The Miny product selection also features many products from the Miny ECO product range, where special attention has been paid to bio-based and recycled materials, among other aspects.

One of the most interesting additions to the Porttipuisto store is the Miny lifestyle brand shop-in-shop department and its versatile range of beauty, wellness and interior products.

Special offers, surprise buckets and extensive opening hours

Tokmanni will celebrate the opening of its remodelled store with plenty of opening offers and with its famous free buckets filled with various products gifts and surprises. At the Porttipuisto Tokmanni in Vantaa the free buckets will be offered to the first 1,000 customers on Wednesday 25 May. By presenting a token handed out at the store, customers will be able collect their surprise bucket without having to queue. The store’s opening offers will be valid from Wednesday to Sunday, 25–29 May.

The Tokmanni Porttipuisto store in Vantaa serves its customers under the supervision of Store Manager Ville Järvinen with extensive opening hours: from 8 am to 9 pm on weekdays and Saturdays and from 10 am to 8 pm on Sundays. The store that employs 35 retail sector professionals is located at Porttisuontie 4, 01200 Vantaa. The store has been open throughout the remodelling.
