Tokmanni to open Miny lifestyle brand store in Vantaa – “This is one of Finland's most versatile and busy store sites and is the perfect location for our Miny store”

In addition to the Forum Jyväskylä shopping centre in Jyväskylä city centre (shown in the picture), plenty of surprising and interesting things to buy will also be available at the Jumbo-Flamingo entertainment and shopping centre when Tokmanni opens a Miny lifestyle brand store there.

The third dedicated store of the Miny lifestyle brand, which Tokmanni introduced early this year, will open in the Jumbo-Flamingo entertainment and shopping centre in Vantaa on Thursday, 27 October 2022 at 10 am. At its brand stores, at the shop-in-shop departments located in many Tokmanni stores and online, Miny is always true to its slogan “Kaikkea kiva, mutta ei mitään kallista. Me olemme Miny.”, which can be freely translated as “Big on fun, small in price. We are Miny.”

The new Miny store is located in the shopping passage connecting the Jumbo shopping centre with the Flamingo entertainment centre. Its assortment consists of various beauty, wellness and interior decoration products and innumerable other products with a great price-to-quality ratio, such as cushions, storage boxes, soft toys and kitchen accessories. Overall, there are more than one thousand products in the approx. 200-square-metre store. The selection also includes products from the Miny ECO range that contain recycled materials and bio-based materials.

Miny is Tokmanni’s answer to the wishes of young and youthful customers and other customers interested in fashion and aesthetics.

At the same time, Tokmanni has seen this year that interest in the Miny lifestyle brand is considerably broader than anticipated, says Timo Heimo, Tokmanni’s Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain.

“Our customers have welcomed Miny very positively. There is interest in Miny not only all around Finland but also among many different types of people. Many of our customers have noticed that they can find interesting items not only for themselves but also for others, such as small presents for friends and birthday and Christmas presents for their own children, godchildren and grandchildren.”

In Vantaa, Miny products have already been available at the Tikkurila and Porttipuisto Tokmanni stores. In addition, earlier this month Miny products were added to the assortment of the Tokmanni store in Tammisto, which is the nearest store to the Jumbo-Flamingo entertainment and shopping centre.

“Miny combines elements of surprise and interest with delightful colours and excellent value for money. It is also great to be able to launch Miny at the Jumbo-Flamingo shopping and entertainment centre. This is one of Finland's most versatile and busy store sites and is the perfect location for our Miny store,” says Heimo.

The store will serve its customers at the Jumbo-Flamingo shopping and entertainment centre in Vantaa on weekdays from 10 am to 8 pm, on Saturdays from 10 am to 7 pm and on Sundays from 11 am to 6 pm. The retail professionals providing customer service at the Miny store include personnel from the Tammisto Tokmanni. The store’s address is Tasetie 8, Flamingo, 2nd floor, 01510 Vantaa.

– More Miny stores to come

In addition to the Jumbo-Flamingo entertainment and shopping centre in Vantaa, there are Miny stores in the Forum Jyväskylä shopping centre in the centre of Jyväskylä and in the Lippulaiva shopping centre in Espoo. Before the end of the year, a new Miny store will also be opened in the IsoKristiina shopping centre in Lappeenranta.

In addition to the Miny stores, the lifestyle brand’s products are also sold in the Tokmanni online store and in the shop-in-shop departments of fifteen Tokmanni stores*. The availability of the products will further improve in the future as similar shop-in-shop departments will soon be opened in the Tokmanni stores in Hollola, in the Karisma shopping centre in Lahti, in the Koskikeskus shopping centre in Tampere and in the Myyrmanni shopping centre in Vantaa.

“We are renewing Tokmanni on a client-driven basis. Encouraged by positive experiences, we are very keen to find more new sites for Miny, both in Tokmanni stores and elsewhere. We are happy to listen to wishes and ideas regarding good store sites,” says Heimo.

Tokmanni’s Miny products have attracted a great deal of positive attention among customers. The lifestyle brand’s wide assortment includes cushions, soft toys, storage baskets and boxes, nightlights, phone accessories and note-taking accessories. The Miny store in the picture serves customers in the Forum Jyväskylä shopping in the centre of Jyväskylä.
