Tokmanni to open the first Miny store in South Karelia before the end of the year – The store will offer more than 1,000 products that are “big on fun, small in price”

Tokmanni launched its Miny lifestyle brand in early 2022. Miny products are currently available in more than ten Tokmanni stores, two Miny stores and the Tokmanni online store. Later this year, a new Miny store will be opened in the IsoKristiina shopping centre in Lappeenranta, for example. The network of stores dedicated to Miny, a lifestyle brand run by Tokmanni, will expand to Lappeenranta in South Karelia. The opening of a new Miny store will be celebrated in the IsoKristiina shopping centre in Lappeenranta city centre before the end of 2022. The popularity of the Miny lifestyle brand continues to increase. According to Miny’s slogan, “Kaikkea kiva, mutta ei mitään kallista. Me olemme Miny.”, which can be freely translated as “Big on fun, small in price. We are Miny.”, the lifestyle brand offers plenty of surprising and interesting things to buy.
The Miny store on the first floor of the IsoKristiina shopping centre will have an area of around 220 square metres. Its assortment will include a comprehensive range of products related to beauty, wellness and home decoration, as well as many other products with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. More than 1,000 different products will be available, such as cushions, storage boxes, soft toys and kitchen accessories. The assortment will also include, for example, products from the Miny ECO range that contain recycled materials and bio-based materials.
“Many of our customers have wished for a Miny store or shop-in-shop department also in Lappeenranta. We wanted to find a key location for the store and found one in the popular IsoKristiina shopping centre in Lappeenranta city centre,” says Timo Heimo, Vice President, Sales and Supply Chain at Tokmanni.
“Tokmanni has served its customers in the IsoKristiina shopping centre since 2015, and we are very pleased with the site. The Tokmanni store will remain in its familiar location in the ground floor of the shopping centre,” he adds.
The Miny network continues to grow
Tokmanni launched its Miny lifestyle brand in February 2022. Miny products are already available in the Tokmanni online store and more than ten Tokmanni stores around Finland*. In addition, the first Miny stores opened their doors earlier this week, in the Forum Jyväskylä shopping centre in Jyväskylä city centre on Tuesday 4 October and in the Lippulaiva shopping centre in Espoo on Thursday 6 October.
A Miny store will also be opened in Vantaa during the autumn. The construction of the store is in progress at the Jumbo-Flamingo entertainment and shopping centre.
The availability of Miny products will also improve in several Tokmanni stores before the end of the year. Miny shop-in-shop departments will be opened in the Tokmanni stores in Järvenpää, the Karisma shopping centre in Lahti, the Koskikeskus shopping centre in Tampere and the Tammisto shopping district in Vantaa, among other locations.

A wide range of Miny favourites in delightful colours
Tokmanni’s Miny products have attracted a great deal of attention among customers. Recent favourites include products in various shades of pink: a foldable box, a cat-shaped thermos flask and a drinking cup with a straw and a lid were the best-selling Miny products in September. Other highly popular products include black cotton buds with paper stems, mint green bath sponges, lilac make-up sponges, multicolour hair doughnuts and red cedar balls.
Delightful colours are typical of Miny products. Of the beauty products pictured above, lilac make-up sponges were among the most popular Miny products in September 2022.
