TOMRA: Scope downgrades credit rating from A- to BBB+

Scope Ratings has today announced a one-notch downgrade of TOMRA System ASA’s credit rating from A- to BBB+ with a stable outlook, which according to the rating agency reflects higher leverage driven by debt-funded acquisitions and weaker cash flow, amid challenging market conditions in the Recycling division. The rating change aligns with TOMRA’s target of maintaining an investment grade capital structure, which the company remains committed to. As part of TOMRA's share based remuneration program and share purchase program for employees, TOMRA has today sold a total of 304,540 treasury shares to employees at a price equal to the market closing price on 28 May, i.e. NOK 99.2. TOMRA: Appointed supplier to leading retail chain in UK

TOMRA has today received a letter of intent to supply approximately 2,700 reverse vending machines (RVMs) to a leading international retail chain in the UK. In response to challenging market developments over the past year, with reduced customer investments within the recycling industry, TOMRA Recycling has today informed its staff that it will initiate a cost reduction program.
