Deposit on non-refillable beverage containers in Germany
The Minister, with support from 15 out of 16 local environmental ministers, has decided to introduce deposit on cans and non-refillable glass and plastic bottles as from summer 2001.
In the near future, the Ministry of Environment will communicate the necessary details of the future system.
