TOMRA acquires distributor in Belgium
Tomra Systems NV had a revenue of 23 MNOK in 2000, and has totally approximately 800 RVM's installed in the market.
The purchase price for the company is 36 MNOK including goodwill of 26 MNOK.
The Belgian Government has recently signaled an ambition to increase the share of refillable containers with deposit, and Tomra is optimistic about future growth opportunities in the Belgian market.
