Acquisition of neltélink in Lithuania

ACQUISITION OF NELTÉLINK IN LITHUANIA Transcom WorldWide S.A., the European call center specialist, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire NeltéLink in Lithuania. NeltéLink is one of the leading customer care centre companies in Lithuania and employs 100 people in customer call centres in Vilnius. NeltéLink has a strong client list, which includes well-known brands such as Statoil, Hydro Texaco, Roche, Sampo-If, SCA Hygiene and Nestlé. The Company is being acquired for an undisclosed sum in cash and is expecting to be merged into Transcom WorldWide from the beginning of April 2002. The Company will trade under the name Transcom and is expected to have approximately 200 employees by the end of the year. In addition to its existing clients, Transcom Lithuania will manage the customer care services on behalf of leading alternative telecommunications provider Tele2 in Lithuania.
