Triton College and Dominican University partner on bachelor’s degree option for students

Triton College and Dominican University have partnered to bring Triton’s students and anyone in the community with an associate’s degree the option of pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Dominican, without leaving Triton’s campus.

Triton College’s University Center provides students with the opportunity to pursue a select bachelor’s or master’s degree on Triton’s campus through partnerships with several public and private four-year universities. Dominican University joins University Center partners National Louis University, Benedictine University, Governors State University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Eastern Illinois University. Dominican University will offer a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies degree through the University Center starting fall 2013.

“I am extremely pleased to expand our partnership to include Dominican University,” said Triton College President Patricia Granados. “The quality programs and services that Dominican provides will be of great benefit as we look to enhance access in support of our students’ success and completion.”

Dominican University President Donna Carroll adds, “Our partnership with Triton College and its University Center opens the door to exciting, new opportunities for both of our institutions to collaborate more effectively in meeting the needs of students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree from Dominican University.”

Conveniently accessible to students on the first floor of Triton’s Student Center (Room B-111), the University Center houses office space for enrollment representatives from each participating university who are available to converse with students about their higher education options.
