TyreSafe announces details of next industry briefing
TyreSafe’s next industry briefing will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 19th September at the Ardencote Manor Hotel in Warwickshire.
The not-for-profit organisation will use the occasion to unveil the latest materials and resources which will be available for October’s Tyre Safety Month and explain how delegates can get involved with the annual campaign.
The free to attend event, which is open to anyone interested in tyre and road safety, will also update attendees on TyreSafe’s ongoing part worn tyres campaign.
Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe, said: “October’s tyre safety month has become key annual campaign for many organisations and this event will give delegates the first opportunity to see what we have in store and how they can once again lend their valued support.
“What’s more, it also provides a great networking opportunity with industry colleagues, enabling an exchange of ideas which can prove very fruitful.
“However, I would urge anyone wishing to attend to contact TyreSafe as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as our last industry briefing earlier this year attracted a record audience and was booked up very quickly.”
Numbers are limited and places are on a first come, first served basis. Those wanting to book their attendance should contact Christine Joyce at TyreSafe on 0845 301 6852 or email cjoyce@tyresafe.org. Registration and lunch will be from midday with the briefing starting at 1pm and expected to finish around 3pm.
“2012 is a very exciting year for TyreSafe and the whole industry. We have seen the introduction of the new tyre labelling regulations which are among the biggest changes to affect the tyre industry for years, while TyreSafe itself has already launched some very successful initiatives and is now looking forward to Tyre Safety Month in October.”
