From everything I've learnt during my degree and then from all of the experience I gained when working in Germany, I know [immersive music] is growing in popularity all over the world. By opening an immersive music mixing studio in India, it will not only raise awareness of the technology there but will also make it more accessible to the Indian people.

The local mothers viewed the women at St John’s as the ones with the expertise. It was much better that we weren't there to overshadow their efforts or be a distraction. I think that is one of the dangers with developmental work, particularly if you have people coming from the west or the global north. They can often be incorrectly deemed as being the experts when actually it’s the local people who are.

Particularly now winter is almost upon us we need this extra protection a lot more now than during the summer.”
