UT Arlington music scholarship gala set for April 25 at Winspear Opera House

ARLINGTON - One of the crown jewels in the Dallas Arts District welcomes The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Music on Monday, April 25, for an enchanting evening of music and academic excellence. The Music Department presents the 2011 Spring Scholarship Gala at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, 2403 Flora St. in downtown Dallas. The program begins at 7:30 p.m.  The gala will highlight UT Arlington music students from the Wind Symphony, Jazz Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra and A Capella Choir.  Tickets are $25.
