Citywide Exhibition to Open its Doors

Students at University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) are busy preparing artworks for the Swansea College of Art annual summer degree show that will take place across Swansea in May and June.Opening this Friday 19th May, work by final year degree students from a range of creative courses will be on display in Swansea at UWTSD's Dynevor and ALEX buildings, the National Waterfront Museum, the Dylan Thomas Centre and HQ Urban Kitchen, with selected shows also exhibiting in London later in the summer. University launches scholarships for Ukrainian students

University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) has launched new postgraduate scholarships for students from Ukraine.Ukrainian students can apply to study a Masters in Global Citizenship and Sustainable Leadership  on the University’s Lampeter Campus. All costs for postgraduate tuition, accommodation and pre-sessional language classes will be covered by UWTSD for 16 successful applicants. International Green Gown Awards shortlisting for ATiC and eHealth Digital Media dementia collaboration

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s (UWTSD) Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATiC)  has today (Thursday, April 27) been shortlisted in the prestigious 2023 International Green Gown Awards  for a collaborative project, Seeing dementia through their eyes (Living with Dementia), with  Swansea-based film makers eHealth Digital Media.ATiC and eHealth Digital Media won the Benefitting Society award in the 2022 Green Gown Awards UK and Ireland 

Design Crafts Student competition with The Association for Contemporary Jewellery

Year 2 and 3 students from the BA Design Crafts course at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Swansea College of Art have just taken part in an exciting live project connecting to the Association for Contemporary Jewellery, Mission Gallery Swansea and The Crafts Council (who are education sponsor for the ACJ touring exhibition).Students responded to a brief set by ACJ to create a piece of jewellery (in the broadest sense of the word) in direct response to their touring exhibition ‘Meanings and Messages’ which showed at the end of last year in Mission Gallery. Design Crafts lecturer at Swansea College Of Art wins 2 Major Eyewear Design Awards

A Design Crafts lecturer from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David's Swansea College of Art has won two major Love Eyewear design awards at 100% Optical in London.Ffin Eyewear by UWTSD's lecturer Anna Lewis won the 'Best men’s sunglasses of the year', ahead of major brands like Eyewear by David Beckham, Morel and JFrey,  and 'New designer of the year 2023' category at this year's  ‘Love Eyewear’ awards at 100% Optical in London. Swansea College of Art selected to host prestigious Freelands Studio Fellowship

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD)’s Swansea College of Art is one of six universities across the UK hosting the prestigious Freelands Studio Fellowship.The successful Fellows are based at their host university for a full calendar year. They are provided with a studio within the Fine Art department, access to workshop and library facilities and supported by a teaching mentor. Adult Learners complete Introduction to Early Years course through UWTSD

University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) are working with a group of young parents brought together by the Flying Start team in Neath, Port Talbot, to deliver adult learning courses.In October 2022 the group of parents successfully completed a course run by Donna Williams from the University’s Widening Access Department.
