UROS Announces Rauno Jokelainen As New Chief Executive Officer
September 22nd, 2021 - Freienbach, Switzerland. UROS AG Board of Directors today announced that it has named Rauno Jokelainen, previously UROS’s Chief Technology Officer and Country Manager, Finland, as the company’s new CEO as of October 1, 2021.
As CTO and Country Manager, Finland, Rauno has been responsible for the company’s technology roadmap, the R&D function, UROS Innovation Center as well as overseeing all operations in Finland.
Prior to joining UROS in 2019, Rauno led RF Platforms Development Unit at Nokia as Vice President. He has contributed to the development of a range of different cellular technologies from NMT analogue systems to 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G digital systems during his nearly thirty years in the telecom industry.

Rauno holds an MSc degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Oulu University.
