UROS awarded best in IoT Utilities at Hong Kong Business Technology Excellence Awards

29th September, 2020 - Hong Kong. UROS has been named the winner of the HKB Technology Award for IoT Utilities in Hong Kong. The award is an annual contest recognising top-tier firms with the most unique tech projects, digital services and innovative solutions, which drive business growth and push the boundaries of technology in the region. The event is organised by Hong Kong Business Magazine, a business publication covering Hong Kong and China mainland, in association with local trade organisations.
UROS entered the contest two of its products UROS Sense and UROS Flow, which are a real-time liquid quality monitoring service and a turnkey package of advanced digital services for increased efficiency and water quality for cities, municipalities and water utilities respectively.
UROS General Manager, APAC & Greater China, Mr. Herbert Chan represented UROS at the ceremony, and accepted the award; “We are proud to receive this recognition from HKB Technology Awards for our transformative water technology. One of our core ambitions at UROS is to help solve some of the greatest problems of our time, and several of those are linked to water. We are excited to work with municipalities, cities and governments to make an impact where it counts with the help of our technology.”
This year’s winners were selected by a panel consisting of experts within their field from institutions such as PwC Hong Kong, Ernst & Young, Mazars Hong Kong, RSM Hong Kong and SHINEWING CPA Ltd, based on the uniqueness, success & effectiveness, impact, dynamism and flexibility of the nominated entries.
