Karin Lepasoon leaves Vattenfall

Senior Vice President and Head of Group Communications at Vattenfall, Karin Lepasoon, has decided to leave Vattenfall and will assume the position as ABB’s Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer, based at the global headquarters in Zürich. 

Karin worked at Vattenfall during 2016-2020 and then returned in October 2021. During these years she has been in the lead of defining and engaging Vattenfall’s employees and customers in the new strategic positioning of the Vattenfall brand.

“I have enjoyed working with Karin and I’m sorry to see her leave this soon, but I wish her all the best in her coming position”, says Anna Borg, President and CEO, Vattenfall.

“It was a tough decision to leave Vattenfall. In particular leaving all my wonderful colleagues who I sincerely enjoy working with. Vattenfall is on a journey towards making fossil free living possible within one generation. I will continue to follow Vattenfall’s progress towards this critical goal”, says Karin Lepasoon.

Karin Lepasoon will leave Vattenfall at the latest in September 2022. A recruitment process for a successor will start immediately.
