Vattenfall’s sale of parts of its Swedish engineering consultancy completed

Vattenfall’s Board of Directors, yesterday approved the sale of parts of Vattenfall’s Swedish engineering consultancy, Vattenfall Power Consultant AB to Pöyry PLC.

The deal, which was announced by Vattenfall on 14 April 2011, has been completed. This is in line with Vatenfall’s strategy to divest non-core assets.

The units divested, include approximately 245 employees at about 20 offices located in Sweden, Norway and the UK. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
