Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reports March sales

RICHMOND HILL, ON (April 2, 2025) – Volvo Car Canada reports sales of 1,195 vehicles in the month of March, up 1.4 percent over the same period last year. For the quarter, the company reported sales of 2,631 vehicles, up 0.2 percent.

 

For the month, the company reported sales of 424 electrified vehicles – those with a fully electric or plug-in hybrid powertrain – accounting for 35.5 percent of total sales. Year to date, the company has sold 1,065 electrified vehicles, representing 40.5 percent of total sales for the quarter.

 

March results were led by the XC40 small luxury SUV, with 369 units sold, up 12.2 percent over the same period last year, followed by the XC60 (368 units), and XC90 (306 units).
