Volvo Car Canada Ltd. reports monthly June sales record
RICHMOND HILL, ON (July 2, 2025) – Volvo Car Canada reports sales of 1,429 vehicles in the month of June, up 8.8 percent over the same period last year and representing a new monthly sales record. Year to date, the company has reported sales of 6,633 vehicles, up 3.9 percent.
For the month, the company sold 445 electrified vehicles – those with a fully electric or plug-in hybrid powertrain – accounting for 31.1 percent of total sales. Plug-in Hybrids accounted for 348 vehicle sales in June, representing a new monthly record. Year to date, the company has sold 2,422 electrified vehicles, representing 36.5 percent of total sales.
The XC60 compact luxury SUV was the top selling vehicle in June, with 611 units sold. This, followed by the XC40 small luxury SUV, with 386 units sold, up 40.9 percent over the same period last year.
“June was a strong month, reflecting growing demand across our full lineup and continued strong performance from our plug-in hybrid models,” said Matt Girgis, Managing Director, Volvo Cars Canada.
