Wallenstam now has 10,000 rental apartments under management. The tenant Dennis Furlan and his family are moving into Wallenstam’s 10,000th apartment in the new production in Elisedal, Gothenburg.

“It feels fantastic that we now have 10,000 rental apartments in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Uppsala, it is a milestone for us as a company. Our high new production rate has helped us to gradually increase the number of apartments in our management operations,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO of Wallenstam.

Wallenstam currently has construction in progress of about 3,000 apartments. In Elisedal, four minutes from Korsvägen in Gothenburg, a total of 336 new rental apartments are being built. This week, the first tenants were welcomed to their new homes.

“The need for housing is enormous. At present, there are more than 120,000 people in our housing queue to live in a newly produced rental apartment. We build a premium product where quality, service, flexibility and comforts are automatically included. To be able to welcome our tenants to their new homes is always special but today it is something extra special for us,” says Marina Fritsche, Vice CEO of Wallenstam.

Dennis Furlan, who has just moved to Gothenburg from Kristianstad with his family, has moved into a newly produced three-bedroom apartment in Elisedal.

“It feels really wonderful to be in place here now. After taking part in a digital viewing and then signing the contract, we are just in the process of installing ourselves here in the apartment and getting used to living in Gothenburg as a city. The location is perfect and to be able to move into a completely new apartment with the family feels great,” says Dennis Furlan.
