293 new rental apartments for Haninge
Today Meeri Wasberg, Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board in Haninge, together with Hans Wallenstam officially started the new production of 293 new rental apartments on Örnens väg in Haninge, south of Stockholm.
The project, which is called Parkstråket, will consist of two blocks in total with first occupation preliminarily planned for 2020.
“We are really looking forward to help provide more rental apartments for Haninge, which is an expansive and growing municipality. There is an immense need for housing in our metropolitan areas and each time we put the spade in the ground and can help to provide more homes it is special,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO of Wallenstam.
The 293 rental apartments in Parkstråket will be located along Örnens väg in Haninge in close proximity to the Rudan nature reserve and only 10 minutes’ walk to Handen commuter train station.
The municipality is growing and developing, Parkstråket’s 293 new homes will be a natural part in the overall development of Haninge’s regional town center. More housing is needed and particularly rental apartments and we are happy about the strong commitment from different property developers,” says Meeri Wasberg, Chairman of the Municipal Executive Board in Haninge.
The apartments in Parkstråket will range in size from studio to three bedrooms and will be spread among six buildings containing four to nine floors. The majority of the apartments will have a balcony or patio and a parking garage will be located under the buildings. The architect’s office for Parkstråket is Semrén & Månsson.
