At Birger Jarlsgatan 64 in Stockholm, in the same property as Wallenstam’s Stockholm office, Sweden’s fourth largest tour operator Airtours is now moving into the fifth floor. This is a strategic choice as the business and all sales have been adapted to the fact that all trips are now arranged online and with personal service by telephone.

“We have seen that our customers’ need for a physical store has almost completely disappeared so a move to a new premises without retail space feels totally natural,” says Stefan Chatzopoulos, Public Relations Manager at Airtours.

Airtours was founded in 1998 and today is Sweden’s fourth largest tour operator, specialized in city breaks as well as sun and beach holidays to the Mediterranean. 98 percent of all sales are made online by the company’s own staff, resellers or directly by customers on www.airtours.se

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Airtours and look forward to having them as neighbors in our own premises at Birger Jarlsgatan 64,” says Mathias Aronsson, Vice CEO at Wallenstam.

The floor space of Airtours’ new premises at Birger Jarlsgatan 64 amounts to just over 400 square meters.
