In April next year, Ferroamp will move into office premises in Umami Park in Sundbyberg, one of the Stockholm region’s new dynamic areas. The fast-growing greentech company will then move its headquarters into 1,750 newly renovated square meters in the area’s central block. This location is close to the city with nature around the corner and the Stockholm metro a stone’s throw away.

“We are very happy that Ferroamp is choosing to move its headquarters and lab to Umami Park’s office premises. This establishment demonstrates both the area’s attractiveness and development. It feels extra nice since we are part owners in the company that we will now also get them as a tenant in one of our larger urban development projects,” says Mathias Aronsson Vice CEO of Wallenstam and Regional Director for Stockholm/Uppsala.

Ferroamp offers advanced energy and power optimization solutions for properties. The company has a scalable platform that offers the possibility to combine patented technology in a proprietary EnergyHub system with alternative energy sources and energy storage. Ferroamp has won several awards over the years and recognition for the innovations relating to its EnergyHub system.

The office space that Ferroamp is moving into will now be specially adapted for the operations and will be ready for occupation in April 2023.

“We are currently in a very expansive phase and are seeing sharply increased demand for our products and services. The green transition is accelerating and a new energy landscape is taking shape. With the help of our products, properties can become a strong force in this green transition. To be able to bring together all our employees in attractive new premises with room to grow, with a property owner and partner which is at the forefront of the green transition, feels very positive and is a further milestone on our journey,” says Krister Werner, CEO of Ferroamp.

Apart from Ferroamp’s establishment, Convendum is now welcoming new tenants to the area and in the fall Nordic Wellness will open a new facility here. Early next year, BABAS Burger will also open a new restaurant branch at Umami Square, right in the heart of the area.

Umami Park is being developed with a focus on people enjoying themselves, meeting and working. The proximity to the metro, Stockholm city, Solna and Kista is unbeatable, while Arlanda and Bromma airports are within a convenient distance. The area is expected to be fully developed in 2024, and will then consist of 800 apartments and attractive new space for restaurants, shops, services and offices.
