Kappa Bar opening in Rosenlund
In the summer, the popular e-sports bar Kappa Bar will open in Wallenstam’s premises at Rosenlundsgatan 8 in Gothenburg. Controllers at the tables, computers and large screens for online games, headphones and headsets and stands to follow the games are some parts of the concept. Reconstruction work is currently in progress in order to offer, at opening, four different sections including a bar, restaurant, a gamezone and a VIP room which you can rent for your own experience.

Kappa Bar opened its first e-sports bar in 2016 and today has seven units around Sweden and more that will open shortly. Good cuisine is central to the concept with food that is inspired by the classic sports bar but also incorporating specially designed menus with gaming references.
“For some time, we have been searching for the right premises and location for our restaurant in Gothenburg and we now feel that we have really hit the spot with our establishment at Rosenlundsgatan 8. Kappa’s concept offers Gothenburg something totally unique and it will be fantastic to be able to welcome everyone who is interested in gaming in Gothenburg but also those who are slightly less initiated. Kappa Bar and e-sports are for everyone –and who does not want to have a fantastic evening together with food, drinks and games in all their forms,” says Klas L Bergkvist, one of the co-owners of Kappa Bar.
Other tenants of Wallenstam that have recently established in the Rosenlund area are the Swedish Transport Administration, Selfmade and Erikshjälpen Second hand.
