Pastries, sourdough bread, tasty pizzas, poke bowls and sushi will soon become a reality in Kallebäcks Terrasser. The first to open in the fall will be the restaurant Valentinas, which will attract guests with its delicious French flavors, and at the end of the year Stenugnsbageriet café and shop will open. Early next year, the offering will be supplemented with Italian and Asian flavors when Pizzeria Mums and Poke 88 start welcoming new customers.

The ground floors in Kallebäcks Terrasser are now being filled with life and tasty flavors. So far, five blocks containing 975 apartments have welcomed new tenants to the area. In addition to restaurants and shops/cafés, during the fall a healthcare center, child healthcare center, school and nursery school will also open.

“It is really lovely to see how services, cafés and restaurants are establishing in the area and contributing to a pleasant and comfortable life between the buildings,” says Marina Fritsche, Vice CEO and Regional Director of Wallenstam in Gothenburg.

“We are in the middle of a wonderful expansion of the business and are really looking forward to opening in Kallebäcks Terrasser. I hope and believe that we can attract new customers in the area who want to buy fresh bread for breakfast, join us for a coffee or lunch and enjoy the aroma of freshly baked bread,” says Fredrik Frigell, who owns and runs Stenugnsbageriet.

Early next year, both Poke 88 and Pizzeria Mums will open in the Kv. Närheten block. At Poke 88, guests will be able to choose between poke bowls, sushi and wonderful main courses from the Asian food culture. If you would prefer to enjoy a tasty wood-fired pizza there are plenty of delicious options at Pizzeria Mums. David who runs the restaurant is a former Swedish pizza champion.

The construction of Kallebäcks Terrasser commenced in 2019 and when fully developed, the district will consist of almost 2,000 new homes, a school, nursery school, offices, restaurants, cafés and local services. The construction is currently in progress of two residential blocks with fine new commercial premises in the ground floors.
