Podcast creator, media agency and patent firm to establish with Wallenstam
Vasagatan, Kungsportsavenyen and Kyrkogatan in central Gothenburg are some of Wallenstam’s popular office addresses, which will soon get new tenants. Starting in February, the production company and platform Polpo play, which creates some of Sweden’s most popular podcasts and live shows, among other content, will be accommodated at Vasagatan 43. Later in the fall, the media agency Scream will move to a newly renovated office on Kyrkogatan. These are two examples of the more than 20 ongoing adaptations of premises that Wallenstam is currently carrying out in the region for its customers.
“We are noticing continued strong interest for office premises in attractive inner city locations and we are continually developing our properties in order to meet customer demand. What is important for our customers is also important for us,” says Marina Fritsche, Regional Director Gothenburg and Vice CEO of Wallenstam.
At present, Wallenstam is carrying out adaptations of offices and commercial premises in about 20 locations, with a combined floorspace of just over 15,000 square meters in central Gothenburg.
Some concrete examples where premises are being adapted include Kungsportsavenyen 25 where sterile operating rooms will be converted into modern office premises for a patent firm. At Kyrkogatan 17-19, a new layout and nice office space is being created for the media agency Scream in areas that were previously used as warehouses, offices and workshops. At the corner of Avenyn/Vasagatan, a premises with high ceilings, fireplace and elegant stucco has been adapted for creative podcasting for Polpo play.
“To adapt and optimize office premises based on customer requests and see new possibilities through adaptation of premises is a great strength that we have as a company,” says Magnus Bellvik, Head of the Reconstruction department at Wallenstam.
