Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, SOVA is opening a new concept store in Wallenstam’s premises at Korsgatan 14 in Gothenburg. On 667 square meters, opposite the Cathedral, Sweden’s largest retail chain in the quality beds segment will provide inspiration with its bed range.

“It is really great to be able to welcome SOVA to the best city location in the Inom Vallgraven district. A nice and pleasant addition which will strengthen the city center’s offering while it will also serve as a fine compliment to the other businesses in the area,” says Marina Fritsche, Vice CEO of Wallenstam.

In 1989, the first SOVA store opened in Malmö. Today, SOVA is Sweden’s largest retail chain within quality beds and accessories and employs 150 staff in Sweden with 16 stores in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Skåne.

“We want to inspire and give more people the chance to easily explore SOVA’s bed range and therefore we see an increased need for stores in city locations. This is an eagerly awaited strengthening of SOVA’s presence in Gothenburg. The right size, in the middle of town and with good signage opportunities,” says Johan Forssman, CEO of SOVA.
