The first tenants in place in Kallebäcks Terrasser

The first tenants are now being welcomed to their new homes in Wallenstam’s major urban development project Kallebäcks Terrasser. The first keys have now been handed over to the residents in the block, which is located at the highest point of the area and offers a wonderful view over Gothenburg.

Welcoming our first tenants to Kallebäcks Terrasser is somewhat of a milestone. In fall 2013, we signed an agreement with Arla Foods on the acquisition of the property which is now being gradually developed into a really beautiful area. When fully developed, the district will consist of 1,800 new homes, new modern offices, a gym, school, nursery school and a local square with restaurants, cafés and local services,” says Marina Fritsche, Regional Director Gothenburg and Vice CEO of Wallenstam.

The first tenants are moving into the Mejeristen block, which consists of 270 apartments divided among three buildings and featuring different colors inspired by the nearby forest. The apartments have been allocated via Wallenstam’s housing queue and interest has been strong. Apart from a wonderful view, the residents have access to Wallenstam’s housing App and several mobility solutions that make everyday life easier. Some examples are free membership in a car pool and bicycle pool with special bikes, one month’s free bus pass on Västtrafik and digital entrance displays showing when the next bus is leaving in real time.

New construction is currently in progress of just over 1,100 apartments in the area, and next year both CELLINK and Nordic Wellness will establish in the large, ultra-modern office building Entré Kallebäck.
