The Nomination Committee proposes unchanged ordinary directors’ fees for 2020

As an act of solidarity in these times, the Nomination Committee proposes unchanged ordinary directors’ fees to the members of the Board of Directors.

In light of this, the Nomination Committee will withdraw its proposal on increased fees to the Board of Directors. Instead, the Nomination Committee proposes unchanged ordinary fees to the members of the Board of Directors, which means SEK 740,000 to the Chairman of the Board, SEK 260,000 to the Vice Chairman and SEK 160,000 to each of the other Board members.

Anders Oscarsson, Head of Equity & Head of Corporate Governance at AMF and a member of Wallenstam’s Nomination Committee:
“The Nomination Committee wants to point out that Wallenstam stands strong despite the prevailing circumstances, but also that it is important that the company is in tune with the times and shows solidarity with the rest of society.”

Hans Wallenstam:
“Wallenstam’s business idea is based on my past experiences of all the crises I have been through. This means that we are well-prepared for the times we are now in and that await us. This is a time for thriftiness and for this reason I consider the Nomination Committee's proposal to be timely, not least for reasons of solidarity. I have also in consultation with the Chairman voluntarily relinquished my salary from now on and until further notice, which feels obvious to me in these times.”
