Wallenstam acquires commercial property in central Gothenburg

Wallenstam has today signed an agreement with SEB Trygg Liv for the acquisition of a commercial property at Lorensbergsgatan 2-4/Vasagatan 45 in the Avenyn area in central Gothenburg.

“It feels really great to be able to increase our property holdings within the CBD in Gothenburg, particularly in light of the strong demand that exists for centrally located commercial floor space. As an urban developer and property owner, we are working continually to find new opportunities. This excellent property, which we are now acquiring is located next to our other properties in the Avenyn area and will complement these very nicely,” says Hans Wallenstam, CEO.

The property Lorensberg 54:9 with the address Lorensbergsgatan 2-4/Vasagatan 45, includes about 6,600 sq m of lettable area, and consists of retail space on the ground floor and office space on six floors. The property is fully let.

The purchase price amounted to SEK 375 million and possession will occur on April 1, 2019.
