Wallenstam has issued a green bond of SEK 300 million for financing of wind turbines
Wallenstam has issued a green bond under its green framework and MTN program. The issue consists of SEK 300 million with a maturity of 2.5 years and with a variable interest rate of 3M Stibor + 120 basis points. The bond is unsecured.
The bond proceeds will be used for financing of Wallenstam’s wind turbines.
The bond will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm Sustainable Bonds List. Nordea Bank Abp has acted as issuing agent.
The green framework describes, among other things, what types of projects and assets that can be financed using green bonds. The framework, established together with Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ), was reviewed by CICERO Shades of Green and obtained the highest rating, Dark Green.
