Wallenstam is introducing digital mailboxes as standard in all new housing production. The mailboxes will be integrated with the properties’ digital entry system which will give the residents easy and secure access to their homes and their mail. Wallenstam’s existing residential properties, home for 10,000 families, will be included in stage two.

We currently have about 3,000 rental apartments in production. Quality, security and design have been important aspects in our agreement with Renz, which is our partner in this initiative,” says Patrik Persson, Technical Director at Wallenstam.

Apart from a simplification for the tenants, since as a resident they can use the same tag at the entrance door as for the mailbox and other readers, there are also handling benefits through streamlined administration.

“The installation of the e-Line mailbox is part of our development and digitalization work. This is an initiative which I hope will also help to simplify everyday life for our residential tenants. In connection with this, we are also exploring the possibilities for installation of delivery boxes in the properties,” says Patrik.

The mailboxes are supplied by Renz, a company which is celebrating its 95th anniversary in 2020 and has five of its own factories around Europe.
