Right in the heart of central Uppsala, Studentbostäder i Sverige, SBS, has moved into newly renovated office premises at Kungsgatan 47. The same address as where Wallenstam has its own Uppsala office since 2017.

“It is really nice to welcome SBS to fine new office premises right in the center of Uppsala. This is a popular area with a wonderful choice of everything you want around the corner in the form of shops, restaurants, urban environment and proximity to most things,” says Ruby Reisman, Business Area Manager, Commercial for Wallenstam in Stockholm and Uppsala.

SBS owns, manages and develops student apartments in long-term partnerships with municipalities, county councils and universities at a number of locations close to universities in Sweden. Affordable student accommodation of high quality is in focus along with a fully digitalized rental management system. The ambition is to become Sweden’s largest student housing company and the natural choice for students on the way to their dream job.

“A central, attractive address, close to the Central Station suits us perfectly. The location together with the excellent, fresh looking premises made the choice easy,” says Samira Mchaiter, Head of Property Management at Studentbostäder i Sverige.

Wallenstam has been operating in Uppsala since 2014 and currently manages just over 500 apartments here. Right now, construction is underway of a further 156 rental apartments in Rosendal.
