Wallenstam lets the remaining office space in Valvet – Mullvad VPN takes about 4 600 sq m

Wallenstam has signed a lease agreement with Mullvad VPN, which will lease the remaining available office space of 4,567 square meters in Valvet at Östra Hamngatan 23 in Gothenburg. The letting means that all office space in the property, just over 8,500 square meters distributed over four floors, is now let.

Mullvad VPN is a Gothenburg-based IT company that since its foundation in 2009 has strived to counter mass surveillance and censorship, primarily through the company’s VPN service and browser. Mullvad believes in a free and open internet, where people have the right to seek information, express their opinions and communicate privately without eavesdropping by public authorities and tech companies. The company operates globally and has customers in more than 150 countries.

Valvet as a property has a long history of banking and in connection with the reconstruction the building has gained a new entrance in the form of a vault that highlights both its history and creates a more inviting overall experience. The development of the property has included both technical upgrades and care in selecting materials and design, with premium quality in every detail, where the new vaulted entrance and the open atrium contribute to a modern and inviting overall look. Work on adaptation of the premises is now starting ahead of Mullvad VPN taking occupancy.
