Wallenstamtakes an active part in Talangakademin
Today, the unique job-creation concept TalangAkademin in Hallonbergen Centrum was launched. This is a collaborative project between the social partners and leading property owners supported by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth that Wallenstam has chosen to support and take an active part in.
“We have a long-term engagement in Sundbyberg as a property owner and urban developer. In Umami Park in Hallonbergen, we will develop an entirely new area with housing and commercial premises. For this reason, it is important for us to support good initiatives, which can contribute to a continued positive development of the area in the long term,” says Elisabeth Vansvik, Communications Director at Wallenstam.
TalangAkademin conducts outreach work in cooperation with property owners, municipalities, the Swedish Public Employment Service, organizations and associations and focus on matching jobseekers with companies that can offer internships.
“Many sectors are crying out for competencies while there is a lot of hidden talent due to social exclusion. TalangAkademin benefits the individual, the business community and property companies,” says Stig-Arne Bäckman, Project Manager at TalangAkademin.
Apart from Wallenstam, property owners that are partners in TalangAkademin in Sundbyberg include Fastighets AB Förvaltaren and Balder. TalangAkademin is also located in the shopping centers Frölunda torg in Gothenburg and Väla Centrum in Helsingborg.
Wallenstam has just had its first apartment viewings in Umami Park, Hallonbergen and there is great interest in the new dynamic area, which is starting to take shape in Sundbyberg, featuring 800 apartments, modern office space, shops, cafés and local services.
