Family Time at Wave Hill This Summer
Generations of families do some of their most thrilling growing up in the gardens of Wave Hill, a place to play, to draw, to write, to listen and open your senses to the richness of life itself. This summer, Wave Hill educators will share some of their favorite nature stories during Stories in the Garden. Wednesdays in July, babies eight weeks old to crawling, guided by their moms, dads or caregivers, stretch, breathe and bond at Mommy and Baby Yoga. And every Saturday and Sunday, visitors explore the gardens and make nature-inspired creations at the Family Art Project.
Join us for a special nature presentation all about the Snakes of New York—and have the chance to see these intriguing creatures up close. Rounding out the season are Bird Walks, Nature Walks and Talks and a Pollinators Walk! These summer activities are sure to entice the whole family!
Events are free with admission to the grounds unless otherwise noted.
