About Us

Wave Hill is a 28-acre public garden and cultural center in the Bronx overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades. Its mission is to celebrate the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes, to preserve its magnificent views, and to explore human connections to the natural world through programs in horticulture, education and the arts.

FRI, SAT, SUN, April 25, 26, 27, 2014Trees are an iconic feature of Wave Hill’s landscape, lining the trails of the woodlands, adding color in the fall and providing the perfect shade on a sunny day. Wave Hill celebrates Arbor Weekend with a tree giveaway, tree walks and talks, a bike tour of trees in the Bronx, a tree-themed Family Art Project and a junior arborist station sponsored by Almstead Tree, Shrub & Lawn Care.
