Mr Green online casino releases new app in the UK

– Offers real-money casino games on smartphones

The AktieTorget-listed Mr Green & Co AB (publ) now offers its UK customers the opportunity to play at the Mr Green casino through a new smartphone app that users can log in to via their Facebook accounts.

Mr Green & Co can now see the first synergy effects generated by the acquisition of Social Thrills, which already offers casino gaming at Spin Tower Casino on Facebook in a beta version. During the summer, Social Thrills and Mr Green Ltd have worked together on the development of a new smartphone version of the Mr Green online casino for the UK market.

“For us, being one of a handful of gaming companies to offer real-money gaming in the UK market with a Facebook log-in represents a seal of quality,” says Mikael Pawlo, CEO of Mr Green & Co, and continues:

It is Mr Green & Co’s opinion that the introduction of Mr Green’s new app should initially be viewed as a test launch. However the presence on and link to the log-in via Facebook and the mobile app strategy as a distribution channel are considered strategically important. The move is not expected to have any major impact on earnings in 2014.
