Leading schools expeditions company World Challenge has joined forces with Class Adventure to help offer a wider portfolio of UK and International based outdoor educational programmes for students from Year Three to Year 13 and above.

Class Adventure, also part of TUI Travel Group PLC - the world’s largest leisure travel company, currently works with schools, colleges and universities across the UK and offers one to seven-day adventure programmes at a variety of inspiring nationwide locations including the Peak District, the Brecon Beacons, the Lake District, Snowdonia and Condover Hall in Shropshire.

Class Adventure already boasts over 10 years of expertise and offers a range of team building programmes, adventure days, multi-activity base camp programmes, trekking expeditions, residential and camping based programmes as well as river expeditions.

But it will now be able to draw on the long-standing experience of the World Challenge team based in High Wycombe as it looks to fulfil the growing demand from client schools, organisations and participants.

World Challenge MD Matt Eastlake is excited about the coming together and said: “There is already a natural synergy in terms of both companies’ ethos, with challenge, participation and environment at the heart of what we do so this move is of mutual benefit.

“Perhaps the most important life skill is the ability to learn. By learning new skills outside of our normal environment we increase our understanding of the world around us and equip ourselves with the tools we need to lead a more productive and fulfilling life.

“We can now offer flexible outdoor adventure education programmes from a very young age which will only assist the personal development of students.”

Class Adventure’s General Manager Paul Warrilow is as equally enthused about the move which he believes will only enhance the company’s offering.

He added: “What we offer at Class Adventure is a portfolio of progressive, developmental and experiential programmes for students of all age groups. We are always looking at ways to grow and to contribute to the provision of outdoor education to an increasing client base.

“Linking up with World Challenge and pooling resource is a natural win-win and we are looking forward to an even brighter future with a more extensive range of programmes and expertise attached to them.”
