Wulff Group Plc Welcomes Iiris Pohjanpalo as New CFO and Announces Changes in Group Executive Board
STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE | 4.8.2023 at 11.00 A.M. Iiris Pohjanpalo, M.Sc. (Econ.), is set to become the new CFO at Wulff Group Plc and a member of the Group Executive Board, effective August 21, 2023. In her new role, Pohjanpalo will oversee Wulff Group's financial management and financing, reporting directly to the Group CEO, Elina Rahkonen.
With extensive experience in financial and change management, as well as mergers and acquisitions and integration across a diverse array of industries - including logistics, healthcare, and event services - Pohjanpalo is well-equipped to drive Wulff Group's financial management and operational growth. The Group Executive Board of Wulff Group Plc will undergo changes. Sami Hokkanen from Wulff Entre Oy and Veijo Ågerfalk from Wulff Beltton AB, who are responsible for International Trade Fair Services and Scandinavian Expertise Sales respectively, will step down from the Executive Board. The Board will be restructured to better align with the evolving relationships between the group's businesses, primarily in terms of sales and profitability. As of August 21, 2023, the Wulff Group’s Executive Board will comprise Group CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, Elina Rahkonen; Managing Director of Wulff Supplies AB, Trond Fikseaunet; Group CFO, Iiris Pohjanpalo; and Communications and Marketing Director of the Wulff Group, Tarja Törmänen.
