Sebastian Pau Johansson was living in a constant flow of shopping, travels and wild parties. He tried to dampen his emotional traumas with alcohol and drugs, but his pain resurfaced as soon as the effect had worn off. He eventually got the help he needed to regain control over his life, leading him to write ”The Crazy Life of Margaret”. The campaign to support Sebastian in getting the book published in May starts now!

Sebastian´s first book will launch in May 2022 when he releases ”The Crazy Life of Margaret”. The book will be translated into english, swedish and italian, and is partly based on Sebastian´s own life, with some added fictional elements. The alter ego, Margaret, is a rich teenager that constantly is being bullied at school. After being abused brutally by several men Margaret is thrown into an existential crisis, leading her to lose herself in a life of luxury consumption, parties and substance abuse. She is a party girl out of control, living a life in luxury to forget her pain and sorrows. It all spiral out of control as Margaret continues her dark journey, using drugs and alcohol up until the point where she doesn't even recognize herself anymore.

– Mental health issues are something that can happen to all of us. It doesn't matter where you're from or what kind of background you have. I was never as rich or lived the luxury life that I gave Margaret in the book, but I did experience the trauma that she went through. Through this book I want to show others that is going through something painful that they are not alone. When you are in the darkest of places it can be hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel, but the first step to recovery is realizing that you have a problem, says Sebastian Pau Johansson.

– I choose to channelize my own life story through Margaret, as it is a story that differs enough from my own, making me feel safe to speak of my own experiences with someone else´s voice, says Sebastian Pau Johansson.
