YIT’s Workery+ Vallila has won the Smartest Building Award 2021
The groundbreaking concept of YIT’s Workery+ business premises in Vallila received this year’s Smartest Building Award in the Real Estate and Building Futureproof event.
The awarding association Smart Building Certification evaluated the “smartness” of buildings on criteria including building usage, user experience and collaboration, building performance, building environment, integrative design and safety and security.
According to the evaluation, the smartness of the building and human interaction are in an optimal balance in Workery+ Vallila: “YIT has adopted top-class analytics and management in its Workery+ premises and has further integrated smartness in its business processes. In addition, they have solutions across the board with astute focus on user experience, health and well-being as well as user safety and security.
“YIT Workery+ Vallila is a perfect example of the future potential real estate has to offer. By imagining the smart infrastructure with only the sky as their limit, they have been able to reimagine their business,” says Nicholas White, Co-Founder of the Smart Building Certification association, in his award justifications.
